We will briefly discuss the general specifics of each Nexus FEX 2K platform. Thereafter, we will have a deeper dive into the architecture of a few specific FEX platforms, down to the ASIC level. We will then speak to several ways in which we can troubleshoot the platform for a variety issues that may be encountered in Data Center environments.

Sean Geist is a member of the High-Touch Technical Services (HTTS) team at Cisco Systems, exclusively supporting one of Cisco’s customers, but has committed additional time to present this webinar. He has 20+ years’ industry experience, including 6 years with Cisco. Prior experiences include serving diverse markets such as (other) large-scale service providers, Cisco Gold Partners, Manufacturing, and education. Sean has delivered trainings internally at Cisco, as well as externally to customers. Sean is a former freelance Technical Editor/proofreader for Prentice Hall Technical Reference Series (PTR). Sean holds a BA from Dowling College, has his CCNA, CCNP and XR Specialist Certification.
