In this Tech Session we will go over the different options available to transfer a caller out of a voicemail box using Cisco Unity Connection. This includes administrator defined single press buttons that will transfer the caller to another phone, like the operator or an on-call person, as well as options to transfer a voicemail caller directly into another user’s voicemail box.

We will also go over how to allow or block callers from manually entering a number to be transferred to while listening to the outgoing greeting of a voicemail.

Lastly, we will go over how to transfer an active call on a phone, directly to a voicemail box without ringing the phone first.
